Ambassador Niagara project staff participated in the 33rd Annual Fort Erie Santa Claus Parade.

Halloween Parade

Ambassador Niagara project staffer Tom Lewis manned the post during Fort Erie's Halloween Parade, passing out candy to the project office's little visitors.

BIA Walking Tour

Ambassador Niagara project staffers Tom Lewis and Leigh Whyte lead participants on a tour of the Canadian project area. Approximately 33 people attended the tour, which was held at the request of the Bridgeburg BIA. Residents of the Bridgeburg area were invited to attend a presentation and walking/bus tour of the project area. Attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions and express concerns about project effects in their neighbourhood.

Public Walking Tour

Approximately 55 people attended the meeting, which featured a bus/walking tour of the project area. The public was given the opportunity to address questions and concerns to project staff.

Environmental Walking Tour

Representatives from local environmental groups, including the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority, Bert Miller Nature Club, Friends of Fort Erie’s Creeks and Fresh Air Coalition were invited to attend a presentation and walking/bus tour of the project area. Approximately 9 people attended the meeting and were given the opportunity to ask questions and offer suggestions.
